Michael St. Denis
Michael is a graduate of UCLA (Bachelor of Arts: Double Major: Political Science & History); Loyola Law School (Juris Doctor); and USC (Master of Social Work: Policy and Military Social Work Concentrations).
Michael is a veteran, spending the majority of service in the US Army 10th Special Forces Group, Airborne. He is a graduate of the Airborne, Ranger and Special Forces schools, among others.
Michael is admitted to the CA State Bar in good standing (Bar # 147952). He was a partner at Sheppard Mullin, Richter & Hampton in the LA Litigation Department before leaving to start his own litigation firm, which he ran for over a decade. Currently, Michael works for the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County in the Lompoc office.
While attending USC’s Social Work program, Michael interned at the USC Center for Innovation and Research on Veterans & Military Families (the “CIR”). While interning at the CIR, Michael assisted with research on issues affecting Veterans and their families; and helped with the hosting of the Los Angeles Veterans Collaborative (LAVC).
Michael is married with 4 children (one of whom is also a veteran) and lives in Santa Ynez.
