Welcome to the Veterans Coalition of San Benito County

Veteran's Day Parade

Friday, November 11, 2011

1:30 P.M.

America was founded on the principles of liberty, opportunity, and just for all, and on Veteran's Day we recognize the men and women of our Armed Forces who have valiantly defended these values throughout our Nation's history.  These remarkable individuals have helped to make our nation secure and to advance the cause of freedom worldwide. By answering the call of duty and risking their lives for their fellow countrymen, these Patriots have inspired our Nation with their courage, compassion, and dedication.

~ Veteran's Day Proclamation

Please join us for a special day of celebration and remembrance and to express your gratitude to all of our wonderful service men and women who answer the call to defend America's freedom.

The Veteran's Coalition of San Benito County

It is with great honor and excitement that we welcome you to the  Veterans Coalition of San Benito County web site. We are a dedicated and proud group of local veterans and friends from the American Legion - San Benito Post 69, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Hollister Post 9242, the Annual Hollister Veterans Day Parade, and the community of San Benito County.

We support our fellow American troops - especially those from San Benito County - who risk their lives for our freedom.  Veterans have served with valor in the Mexican War, the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Persian Gulf War (Desert Storm), Operation Iraqi Freedom, and other military conflicts overseas.  We acknowledge the following branches of the military: Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, Army & Air National Guard, and the Merchant Marines.
